Frequently asked questions

The short answers to the things people ask most.

Is YouCalc free? +

Yes — every calculator is completely free, with no sign-up and no premium tier.

Do I need an account? +

No. There's nothing to register for. Open a calculator and start using it right away.

Do you track me or show ads? +

No ads, no ad networks and no tracking cookies follow you around. The only analytics we use is privacy-friendly and cookieless (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — it counts page views without identifying you. Your inputs stay in your browser.

How accurate are the calculators? +

Each calculator is built from cited formulas and reference sources, and validates your inputs before calculating. For important decisions — especially financial or medical — treat the results as estimates and confirm with a professional.

Which languages and currencies are supported? +

The site is available in nine languages, including right-to-left Arabic and Urdu. Financial calculators default to a sensible currency for your region and let you switch.

Can I use it on my phone? +

Absolutely. YouCalc is mobile-first and lightweight, so it loads fast and works well on any screen size.

Can I save or share my results? +

Yes. Your inputs are written into the page address as you go, so you can copy the link to save a calculation or send it to someone — they will see the same numbers. Many calculators also export a clean PDF or image of the result for printing or sharing.

Why do some calculators show a different currency than I expected? +

Financial calculators pick a sensible default currency from your region, but you can switch to any supported currency with the selector on the calculator. Your choice only affects how figures are displayed — the underlying math is the same in every currency.

Where do the formulas and numbers come from? +

Every calculator lists the formula it uses and the reference sources behind any data it relies on, shown on the page itself. We review those figures on a published schedule and update them when the underlying source changes.

Can I use YouCalc offline or embed it on my own site? +

YouCalc is a website, so it needs a connection to load, but pages are lightweight and load fast even on a slow phone. Many calculators also offer an embed snippet so you can drop the live tool into your own page, with a link back to the full version.

I found a mistake or want a new calculator — how do I tell you? +

Use the “Report issue or send feedback” button on any calculator, or the contact page, to flag an error or suggest a tool. We read every message and use them to fix problems and decide what to build next.
